Sunsets, walking barefoot at the beach, and a hot fudge sundae! Ahhh, summers on Cape Cod!
This photo was created in August at Point of Rocks Beach on Cape Cod Bay. The low tide changes daily and I always find it such a treat to photograph sunset over the bay at low tide as you never know what you will find! The silhouettes in this photo were having fun running across the suns rays along the tidal flats. It took a few exposures and a lot of swarming by the no see-ums, however I remained until I had a photo that captured the few moments of a ‘perfect’ evening on the bay! And yes, I almost gave up after being attacked by the bugs! Patience prevails when trying to make that extra special image.
